This is another recent finish. This Trip Around the World quilt was from a workshop I attended in August with Rachel Wolstenholme of Pomegranate Quilts. She is in the process of writing a book on her method of doing Trip Around the World and ran a couple of workshops here in Ireland to see how it would all work out.
One of the suggestions for fabrics for this workshop was to pick a colour theme. I went to my fat quarter stash and decided on pink and so I have a very pink quilt that my 12 year old daughter very quickly put her name to.
It was longarm quilted on my friends machine and I am very pleased with the overall result.
