It was a block of the month that I collected a few years ago and kept to work on as a wedding present for my niece.
The pattern is by Marti Michell and is listed on her website as Set L Medallion. The blocks of the month included two packs of Marti's templates which were used in making up the blocks.
I started the quilt in February of this year and finished it in October. I was very lucky to have been able to quilt it on my friends longarm machine which really makes it feel as if it is all my own work.
The quilt was presented to the bride and groom (Katie and Aidan) the night before their wedding which was on 2nd November.
